Alert Users of Important Dates

I was talking with someone who was having an issue with missing dates on a project. The system they had been using involved another person manually entering records onto a spreadsheet. Some of those records required some action to be taken before a specific date...OR ELSE!

I don't know how dire the consequences were for missing the date, but I was able to share some advice about conditional formatting or using a formula to alert a User when a date was approaching soon and needed to be addressed.
